Adult & Teen Kits

These projects are designed for ages 13+. 

Kits will be distributed on the specified day. Kits will have names on them and be easily accessible at a no-contact location at the lower entrance to the library. These events require registration. Please fill out the registration form or call the Library at 315.655.9322. If you’re no longer able to participate in a Family project please contact the library.

Quilling (July 13)

Try your hand at the papercraft called quilling. Transform a blank canvas with just a handful of colorful paper strips into a unique masterpiece.

Kit includes: Pre-cut strips of quilling paper, small dowel, cardstock to create project on, and instructions

Batik (August 10th)

Experiment with this ancient form of fabric decoration to create your own one-of-a-kind decorated fabric.

Kit includes: Fabric square, glue, paint and instructions 

Local History Walking Routes (no registration needed)

Chart your own course and learn about the history that surrounds us. Using the Clio app, turn your downtown walk/drive into a handheld history lesson.
