Whether you have guests visiting from out of state, planning a vacation for your family, or looking for an excuse to explore new territory the library makes it easier to explore the bounty of New York adventure found right in our backyard with a variety of discount admission passes to parks and museums. The library is pleased to circulate an Empire State Pass, an ADX Experience Pass, a Wild Center Pass, and Cazenovia's own Stone Quarry Hill Art Park.

Please note these are popular items and are not available for online holds nor do they receive a grace period for return. You may contact the Library if you're interested in aquire a specific pass for a specific week; we will try to accomodate scheduling, but cannot guarentee availability.

The Empire Pass is your key to all-season enjoyment at New York State Parks. It provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and the State Dept. of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more.

Is it available?

Onondaga County, our neighbor to the west, is home to several family-friendly and unique parks. This pass provides discounted access to Beaver Lake Nature Center, Highland Forest, Jamesville Beach Park, Oneida Shores Park, Pratt’s Falls Park and the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

Syracuse’s own art museum. The Everson is home to approximately 11,000 works of art: American paintings, sculpture, drawings, video, graphics and one of the largest holdings of international ceramics in the nation.

The Art Park provides visitors the opportunity to explore unique outdoor artwork amidst 104 acres of conserved land, along four miles of trails, with vista views of the breathtaking rural landscape of Cazenovia and Madison County in Central New York.
