Whether you have guests visiting from out of state, planning a vacation for your family, or looking for an excuse to explore new territory the library makes it easier to explore the bounty of New York adventure found right in our backyard with a variety of discount admission passes to parks and museums. The library is pleased to circulate two Empire State Pass, an ADX Experience Pass, a Wild Center Pass, passes to Ithaca's Sciencenter, a family pass to Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo, and Cazenovia's own Stone Quarry Hill Art Park.
Please note these are popular items and are not available for online holds nor do they receive a grace period for return. You may contact the Library if you're interested in requesting a specific pass for a specific week; we will try to accommodate scheduling, but cannot guarantee availability.

Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo is a family destination that offers engaging animal interactions with fun activities for kids of all ages. Enjoy the animals and their family-friendly play place. Hours of operation are subject to weather, call before you visit.

Onondaga County, our neighbor to the west, is home to several family-friendly and unique parks. This pass provides discounted access to Beaver Lake Nature Center, Highland Forest, Jamesville Beach Park, Oneida Shores Park, Pratt’s Falls Park and the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

The Empire Pass is your key to all-season enjoyment at New York State Parks. It provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and the State Dept. of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more.
