Calling all Merrill Bailey fans — We’ve partnered with Cazenovia Heritage for one last event to celebrate Merrill Bailey’s art, and it’s one you won’t want to miss!
On March 8th, Carl Stearns of Cazenovia Heritage will offer a rare glimpse into the Old Stone Schoolhouse working studio and residence of Merrill Bailey, our famous Cazenovia artist. The house has been vacant for many years and is threatened by deterioration. Carl recently was granted access inside. He will share images and his perspective on the house as a witness to rural schooling, steam railroading, and landscape painting. Whether your interest lies in the man and his art, or in old buildings, or local history, this is one you won’t want to miss. The event will be held at the Library, Main floor, Tuesday, March 8th at 7:00 PM, masks are recommended.
