Join members of the Cazenovia College Community to celebrate Earth Week in FOUR unique ways (Make it Rain, Play with Bugs, Create Art, Meet a Tree)

~Watershed Tabletop Model Demonstrations: Cazenovia College’s Watershed Management class and Environmental Club present…
Learn how watersheds work, and take your turn making it rain (and erode and…)!   It’llbe hands-on, so please wear clothes that can get a little dirty.

~ Bottle Cap Art ProjectCazenovia College’s Environmental Club presents…
Spend a few minutes helping to create a 4×8’ mural from plastic bottle caps that would otherwise end up buried in the landfill! No experience or artistic ability required!

See and learn about the awesome animals that are one of the foundations of stream food-webs! Think you know your bugs? Challenge Mat!

Time to do something REALLY fun on your cellphone!  Learn how to use the really cool My Tree app to calculate the benefits of one tree or an entire forest!

 

These stations will be hosted on the front lawn of the library, in the event of rain, the program will be in the Community Room.
