Explorer Days: Know Your Fish (with the DEC)

Looking for kid-friendly activities over the school break? Head to the Cazenovia Public Library for three fun and educational “Explorer Day” events. Registration is requested. Call or stop by the Library to reserve a spot. These programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Library. All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public.  “Know Your Fish” at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18

 James Everard, an aquatic biologist for New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, will lead an exploration into the fish of NYS. He will teach participants how to identify local species of fish and discuss the different senses that fish use to survive and find food. The presentation will feature hands-on crafts and learning activities. Meet in the Community Room.
