Thousands of books have been donated and they’re ready to find new homes at the Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale. Stop by for Saturday, August 24th (9-5) and/or Sunday, August 25th (10-4). Choose from shopping locations inside and outside: The Community Room for the well-loved books, the Porch for Media products, and the Tent for the Gently-Used books. Special selections from the Barn will be available in the Tent. Prices range from .25 to $2.00. Sunday, take part of the Community Room and Tent bag sales when you can purchase a bag for a flat fee and fill it up!
Students are needed to move some books the week prior and for clean up Sunday after the sale. These hours count toward your Community Service requirements. Anyone interested should contact the library for additional information at 655.9322.
If you’re planning on weeding some of your bookcases to make room for more books, the deadline to donate books is July 31st. We respectfully request you do not donate or abandon books after this time; the Friends need this time to sort the books, allowing for a more organized and enjoyable sale. They will begin collecting for 2019’s sale immediately following the sale.
