Genealogy 101: Finding your Roots online

New to genealogy or inspired by Saturday’s lecture? Join library staff, Elisha Davies, on February 23rd at 7pm in the Community Room for an introduction to finding your family’s history online. Tracing your history can be difficult, but there are tools online that make it easier. The class will instruct users on Ancestry.com (available through the library), FamilySearch.org, other popular sites, and newspapers.  If you’ve never started a search this is the place to start!

Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices, but extras will be on hand.  If you are interested in genealogy and cannot attend the class, the library is pleased to offer in-house use of our ancestry.com subscription during library hours.
