Historic Cazenovia in 3D

November 10, 2021 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Historic Cazenovia in 3D

Join the Library as we welcome local history-lover and antique picture collecter, David Porter as he presents a collection of transformed stereoviews on November 10th at 7 pm in the Community Room. Porter will share about 50 images of Cazenovia and surrounding Madison County that have been transformed into anaglyphs and will be viewed through 3D glasses.

Stereoviews, popular in the late 19th Century, contain two slightly different images that merge when viewed with a stereoscope. The collection viewed on November 10th will feature recent donations to the Library from the Mather & Lyon photographic studio of 1870s Cazenovia.

This program is free and open to the public. To protect the health of the community we ask that masks be worn by participants.
