After celebrating the unveiling of Lincklaen’s Vision statue on October 20th (11 am), please join the Library at noon at the Lakeland Pavillion for a discussion on the sites past, present, and future. Places in the community lend a wonderful backdrop to our history, as we found following the May 8th talk at Lorenzo, so we’re moving down the road to Lakeland Park. Ted Barlett, local preservation planner and historian, will retell the story of the site including the Lakeland estate, outbuildings, lakeshore, a timeline of change past and future. Bartlett will follow his presentation with a walk and tour of the park.
in the event of rain, this program will be held the following week.
This program is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs and sensible footwear.
