Haven’t had enough winter yet? The Library will show Everest on the Community Room Screen Wednesday January 20th at 1pm.
On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers from two commercial expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man.
Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds. (Imdb.com)
Everest is rated PG-13 and runs for 121 minutes.
As always, movies are shown in the Library Community Room with free admission and popcorn. For more information on the movie schedule or other events at the Cazenovia Public Library, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org
