Mr. Holmes, described as “an intriguing and thoughtful suspense-thriller,” will be shown in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room on Thursday, November 19th at 3:15 and 7:00 pm.
Set in 1947, Mr. Holmes, now 93 years old, deals with early dementia as an unsolved 30-year old case haunts him. Only able to remember fragments of the case—a confrontation with an angry husband, a secret bond with his beautiful but unstable wife—he must quietly slip out of retirement and pay a secret visit to his past. This film is rated PG and runs for 104 minutes. As always, admission and popcorn are free.
