Researching Your Historical Cazenovia House- Virtual Panel Discussion
Every house has a story. In Cazenovia, some of those stories go back hundreds of years.
What’s the story of your house? Who built it? Who lived there before it was your home? What were their lives like? Were they farmers, merchants, teachers…? What did your house look like fifty years ago, 100 years ago… more?
If you’ve ever found yourself asking questions like these, then join us on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 7:00 PM for a virtual panel discussion “Researching Your Historical Cazenovia House”. You will have the opportunity to learn about resources that might help you to investigate the answers to some of those questions, hear information about the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation’s historical house sign project, and ask the panelists questions about how to proceed with your own ongoing research.
Presenters:
Ted Bartlett, Cazenovia Heritage
Elisha Davies, Cazenovia Library
Michael Roets, Lorenzo State Historic Site
Sarah Tietje-Mietz, Stone Quarry Hill Art Park
Matt Urtz, Madison County Historian
Jen Wong, Cazenovia Preservation Foundation
