Join the Library for an evening of music with The Five Family Ensemble October 4th at 7 pm in the Library Community Room.
The Five Families Ensemble, directed by Monk Rowe, stretches the boundaries of the traditional chamber ensemble by combining sounds from each of the four instrument groups with a fifth contribution from the human voice. With a repertoire that ranges from Beethoven to the Blues, the ensemble appeals to audiences of all ages with stellar musicianship and distinctive arrangements, presented with an engaging and welcoming attitude.
The members of The Five Families Ensemble are Liz Simchick (violin), Nick Fields (trumpet, baritone horn), Kristen Kopf (cello), Tom McGrath (percussion) and Monk Rowe (woodwinds and keyboards).
This program is free and open to the public. Call the Library at 315.655.9322 for more information.
