For years at the turn of the twentieth century, Cazenovia’s home and business owners were plagued by fires set by a mysterious culprit. Join Madison County historian, Matthew Urtz, for the Story of a Cazenovia Firebug, a digital lecture to learn more about the fires, the Village’s response, and the hunt for the arsonist.
This event will be held on Tuesday, October 6th at 7 pm via Zoom. All participants must register by calling the library or visiting cazenoviapubliclibrary.org. This event will be recorded and available for future viewing. This event is free and open to the public.
Mystery is in the October air at the Cazenovia Public Library. Stay tuned for other programming as we celebrate the mysteries around us.
