Twitter Basics

Since March 2006 Twitter has been a popular social media platform used to communicate between friends, disseminate news and provides a platform for personal thoughts be it inspirational, serious or comical. The Cazenovia Public Library invites anyone who’s interested in learning about and creating a Twitter account to take part in a class February 14th at 10:00 am or 6:30 pm.

Taught by Library staff member, Elisha Davies, the class will cover the very basics of Twitter. In addition to the function and operation of Twitter we’ll discuss why Twitter is different than other social media platforms and how it’s influenced our communications today. Participants should bring their smartphone and/or tablet to follow along with exercises and create a personal account.

Registration is not necessary, this program is free and open to the public. Call the Library at 315.655.9322 with any questions.
