The Cazenovia Public Library and the Izaak Walton League will continue the Young Naturalists program series at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18 in the Community Room. The next program, titled “The Incredible Journey of Water,” will explore the topic of watersheds. The program is open to children ages seven and older.
The Young Naturalists series is designed to get young people interested in science and connected to conservation and outdoor recreation. Participants will become citizen scientists and learn about local ecology through activities, art projects, and books.
Participants in the March program will learn about their local watershed and discover where water goes in their neighborhoods. Part of the program will be presented outside, so children are asked to dress for the weather. Registration is requested. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cazenovia Public Library.
All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information, call 315-655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org
