Jennifer will speak briefly about her left and right-handed drawing and painting process that she experienced while preparing for her current show on view In the Library Gallery Then participants will be lead through a variety of exercises that engage different parts of the brain used during the creative process.

A staple on the central New York jazz scene since 1999, the Jazzz Consort has appeared at the Chenango! Musicfest the Syracuse Jazzfest, Jazz & Caz, the Hamilton, Cazenovia, and Manlius summer concert series, as well as many other private and public functions.

Winterfest is here and that means we celebrate with chocolate at the Cazenovia Public Library. This year our hosts, the Friends of the Library, are joined by the Snow Sisters. There will be chocolate, stories, and sing-a-longs as we celebrate Winter in Cazenovia.

Explorer Day: Science of the Sled Dog

Meet a Denali National Park educator face to face when we virtually invite them into our Community Room and explore the art and science of a sled talk. Using Zoom videoconferencing connections, our staff will spend an hour teaching your class about Denali's amazing natural resources using interactive lessons and activities.

Beekeeping Basics w/ Cornell Cooperative Extension

Our final Warming Up to Winter event embraces the changing of the season and the advent of spring. We're pleased to welcome Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County once again to the Library as we learn the basics to beekeeping. CCE will be joined by Michael Johnston of Johnston's Honeybee Farm to talk bees, apiaries, and sample a little honey.
